Congress Tools was founded nearly 40 years ago with three goals in mind: to
provide the metal polishing trade with the finest quality tools available; to keep a
well stocked inventory so that nearly all orders ship the same day; and to offer
this quality and service at a very competitive price.
Congress Tools is dedicated to the people we feel closest to: the Moldmaker,
the Diesinker, the Benchman and all the fine tradesmen in the metal finishing
trade. Personal attention to your individual requirements, large or small, is the
chief ingredient in conducting our business.

SHIPPING
Virtually all orders received by 4PM Eastern Time are shipped the same day. Shipping and handling charges are FOB Naugatuck, CT,
prepaid and added to the invoice. Truck deliveries are shipped collect.
Orders will be shipped by our choice of carrier (usually UPS) unless otherwise specified by the customer.
PAYMENT TERMS
- Net 30 Days
- Mastercard, Visa and AmEx cards are accepted.
- Accounts over 60 days past due will be placed on credit hold and future orders will be shipped COD. We reserve the right to charge 1-1/2%
(18%APR) on accounts not paid within 60 days.
SETTING UP A NEW ACCOUNT
To open a credit account at Congress Tools, simply supply us with 3 trade references and 1 bank reference via fax. In most cases, credit can be
established and orders shipped on open accounts within 2-3 days.
QUANTITY DISCOUNTS
We will be happy to "sharpen our pencils" for large volume orders to insure you the best possible pricing. Please contact our customer service
department for large quantity inquiries.
PRICING
Prices for all products as listed on our website and in our catalog are subject to change without notice. All special quotations are valid for 30 days
unless otherwise noted.
RETURNS, DAMAGES or DISCREPANCIES
Returns can be made within 30 days of invoice date. Please contact our Customer Service Department for authorization and an RMA number. All
returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge if not returned in the original packaging. No returns will be accepted after 30 days.
Please report discrepancies or damaged shipments immediately, advising the ship date and invoice number. Damages must be noted with the carrier
and all shipping cartons kept for inspection.
